Merida Reacto DA Ltd is a Pro Tour level carbon road bike, with Shimano Dura Ace groupset. Merida Reacto DA Ltd is the same frame platform favoured by Team Lampre Merida in the UCI Pro Tour. Reacto balances aerodynamics, acceleration and handling with long ride comfort. The Reacto is designed to minimise the effect of air resistance on the bike, maximising speed without sacrificing other factors such as weight, stiffness and comfort.
This means the Reacto retains the versatility and comfort of a road bike, but takes off when you put the foot down, and holds well at high speed. This balance makes it a particularly appealing option for triathletes, as it takes some of its cues from a time trial bike, while still having that versatility of a road bike that can be ridden anywhere. This means one bike that can be used for training and racing, with the addition of tri bars creating a formidable weapon for any bike leg.
Shimano Dura Ace 11 speed provides the highest level of shifting and braking performance. 11 speed means much more incremental changes as you shift through gears, allowing you to maintain a more consistent cadence and pedalling efficiency throughout your ride. Maximum head tube stiffness creates confident handling through fast corners and descents, while lateral stiffness through the bottom bracket makes for sharp acceleration and maximum pedalling efficiency.
