Why choose us?

Our Story

We started trading in 1992 in the insulation industry on a part time basis and soon attracted a number of builders in South Gippsland as well as established homes requiring insulation and we also started to install ducted vacuum systems in new homes.

In 2004 we were introduced to the concept of wood pellet fires. The whole concept of using a renewable source appealed to us. We think wood pellet fires are the way forward so we commenced trading as Pellet Fires Gippsland in order to sell and service wood pellet fires across South East Gippsland.

As all this was carried out from our home in Inverloch, we soon saw the need to move into larger premises. We moved to Korumburra Road, Wonthaggi in 2006.

In 2009 we started South Gippsland Cycles. Being avid racing cyclists ourselves we saw the need to offer a more personalised service for the many cyclists in the area. We wanted to offer a service that would take a rider from beginner to enthusiast and be with you all they way. Just selling the bikes without a proper fitting or after purchase support is not our style, not when we know how important the right size bike and regular servicing is to a riders safety. We aim to maximise your cycling experience and enjoyment by providing a premium service by cyclists, for cyclists!

Just prior to Christmas 2015 we moved to our new shop at 21 McBride Avenue, Wonthaggi and decided to no longer install insulation to allow us to entirely focus on bike and wood pellet heater sales and service.
